The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Vanuatu have signed today 1st March 2016 a project agreement confirming the Cyclone Pam Road Reconstruction Project. The Signing between Andrea Iffland,Regional Director of ADB's Pacific Liaison and Coordination Office in Australia, together with Vanuatu's new Minister of Finance and Economic Management,Gaetan Pikioune participated in the signing ceremony.

The regional director mentioning of the project to support the Government's efforts to reconstruct, and climate and disaster-proof transport sector infrastructure on the Efate ring road, which suffered significant damage from flooding as result of the Cyclone Pam in March 2015.
